What this site collects

Sowplot is a static site. The seed starting calendar runs entirely in your browser — the frost date you enter is never sent to us and is not stored. We do not ask for an account, an email address or any personal detail to use the site.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and understand which guides are useful. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the consent banner; if you decline or ignore the banner, analytics storage stays off. IP addresses are anonymised. You can block analytics entirely with a browser extension and the site will work normally.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links, marked as sponsored. When you follow one, the retailer may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase. Those cookies belong to the retailer, not to us, and are covered by that retailer's privacy policy. We do not receive your name, address or payment details.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages, which processes standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. Those logs are retained by Cloudflare under its own policy.

Your choices

You can decline analytics in the consent banner, clear cookies in your browser at any time, and use the site without accepting anything. Because we do not hold accounts or personal data, there is normally nothing for us to delete on request — but you can ask.
